Girne American University

Girne american University (GAU) is the first private University established in the Turkhish Republic of northern Cyprus in 1985. The university of campus is in the city of Kyrenia. Faculties and colleges within the university that started the 35th year celebrations are as follow: faculty of business &economics, faculty of architecture, faculty of education communication faculty, faculty of humanities, faculty of law, faculty of engineering, schools of sports and recreation and School of performing Arts. Throughout history, Girne American University has been guided by focusing on five core values; these values are access, speed, association, value and society. GAU is committed to making the lifetime accessible by implementing the American education model and making them relevant to the young adult population full of opportunities. The aim of the University is to make it possible for education to be both accessible and excellent at the same time. It achieves this goal through exceptional management of university studies and resources, innovative access systems, student services, and related programs that are learner-centered, success-oriented and technology-compliant.

GAU international campuses aim to encourage, support and increase the educational and cultural experiences of all Girne American University students. Alternatively, University offers the opportunity for students to receive education in their international campus in United Kingdom, United states, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Turkey and Moldova.
